Bathroom vent lid

Well I was cleaning the roof yesterday and noticed the vent lid was cracked. Just touched it and this is what I ended up with.
Easy fix but I have only owned camper for 9 months. Buy new from dealer, they must have had it on their lot for awhile, it is a 2019 Salem 26DBLE.Click image for larger version

2019 models came out in 2018 so it easily could have been on the lot since Spring 2018.
You can go to CW and find the replacement lid.
You should think about putting a vent cover housing over it.

Already have the replacement and have installed it. Got it from dealer I bought camper from. I agree with you on the vent cover. Working on that.

Vent covers are you best investment to protect these cheap vent lids, and as a bonus......you can leave the vent open anytime and not worry about rain or snow or.......

The ones that come in new RVs are cheap and thin. I had to replace 2 of mine that fell apart in a little (pea sized) hail event. Less than a year old. The replacements are much thicker.

What replacement brand did you use that was thicker? I also have a broken lid on my 2017 Salem cruise lite.

The replacement was a Camco brand. That is what the dealer had.

I just did this on my 22RBHL with a tinted style camco one. I will be looking into the vent covers too. I got my replacement vent cover through Amazon, $15.

This is the one I bought ...

you'll have to check your hinge type but they come in white or smoke... just looking for small things to make life easier... I'll be looking into the bigger type covers but have to ensure they will clear the garage at my house that's being built right now

That is the same style as the one I have. I got the white one. I have a clear skylight over the shower that provides plenty of light during the day. I did order a Maxair vent cover hope it fits, vent and skylight are only about a foot apart.
