Burning around vent in Hemisphere 337bar

I have an important question for the Hemisphere 337bar owners. Around heating duct in the bathroom, the tile is starting to burn. When the heating is on the grill on the bathroom floor gets so hot you literally burn your feet if you step on it. So we try not to step on it, but around the grill there is starting to get burn marks. Is this a fire hazard? Can I do anything to remedy the situation? Actually considering adding an elbow to the existing duct to divert some of the heat to the hallway. Do you think this is feasible. Thanks for your comments.
