Extending slide out with/without stab jacks

New to the whole slide out thing. Just curious if you can extend the slide, without lowering the stab jacks...

Think about the added weight to either or both sides. More important...why would you want too.

While loading and or unloading. Just curious if it would damage things. You can't get through the camper while it is retracted.

They sit that way on the sales lot most of the time. I would put down the jack if it was going to be out for a while but not when just going in for a few minutes.

X 2 As long as the unit is somewhat level so the slide operates and doesnt get bound up.
