Fiberglass exterior cleaning

What does everyone use for cleaning fiberglass travel trailer. Scrubber? And what type of wash solution.

What are you trying to clean off the exterior?

Dirt?
Oxidation?
Bird droppings?
Pine sap?
Bugs?
Something else?

Just dirt and normal environmental build up. Wanting to clean prior to storing for winter with a cover.

I use Dawn dish washing detergent diluted in warm water along with a soft bristled car wash brush mounted on a telescopic pole to clean off dirt, bugs and road grimes. For stubborn black streaks I use LA's Totally Awesome, but I keep it away from all decals. I do not use any waxes as I have found that wax does nothing but attract dust/dirt.

Name says it all

I swear by this stuff. Just sold our 10 year old motorhome which spent some winters in Florida, and others in Canadian winters and never covered. Never clean it in direct sunlight, and rinsing leaves almost no water spots.

The buyers couldn’t believe how good it looked.

My understanding, Dawn on fiberglass is a bad idea for long term use. Dawn can eat fiberglass - at least according to a guy who does classic car work. It will also remove whatever wax is left on your rig from the last application. Best recommendation for cleaning a fiberglass trailer is your preferred car wash product. Personally, I go with Meguiar's.
