Fresh water tank drain or low point drain
Salem 272bhs we bought used it is 2016.
Just looking around for the water drains. I only found 1 white hose that has valve and 2 more right next to it with no valves. I assume this is fresh water tank. I can not locate any other drains such as a low point. Anyone have this setup. The papers that came with rv don't show drains

I don't have your rig but often there are uncapped/open lines for the low point drains that have a valve up inside the rig in a protected area (somewhere usually in a basement compartment) that opens to drain the water system.
They do that so the exposed line underneath doesn't hold water making those low point drains susceptible to freezing. Have you followed up into the R/V where those lines come down through?
The lines could also be overflow or vent lines for the fresh tank. Have you filled the tank to see if they overflow?

I will investigate further inside and see if i can find any valves. I find it hard to believe there would be only one drain. I will try draining the one valve and see if the fresh water tanks gauge drops as well. I had older 5 th wheel and it had 3 drains

look over by the water heater, there may be 2 hoses with caps (blue and red) which are the low point drains. That's where I found ours

Found the hot and cold drains
Yep I did find the 2 low point drains on curb side under bathroom sink. They are right behind the back axle and hard to spot. I learned a trick many years ago that if you cant find something to look in the dark. Sure enough I went under the trailer in total darkness with good light and everything stands out. Just like using a TIMING LIGHT back on the old cars. Timing light flashing shows timing marks plane as day when it is dark.
My red and blue drains have plastic caps to unscrew. Now I am ready to winterize in the fall LOL

Glad you found them,
To make life easier, if you can access the tubes from inside, put a 1/4 valve on each and just leave the caps off. Crawling on your back under a trailer gets a little tiring the older we (I) get!

There's a rubber washer inside each of those caps. The washers easily fall out. Don't lose them in the fall and then wonder why the caps drip next spring.

If you do decide on the valves... those are 1/2” FPT swivel connections. The valves will/should be 1/2”MPT to connect. In my part of the world one will need some plug/cap on the valves to keep dirt dobbers out.

It’s in the black tank flush line.

Mine are exactly like those in the photo, with caps threaded on. I would like to be able to attach a valve to each for ease in winterizing but the thread size and pitch do not seem to match any connectors I have found. Has anyone else had this problem?

It looks like 1/2" IP (originally "iron pipe") to me.
You could either find valves with 1/2" IP male threads (MIP) and screw them into the brass sleeves, or find valves with 1/2" IP female threads (FIP) and remove the sleeves, and screw the valves directly onto the stubs. The former are hard to find; the latter are common and inexpensive/
Do you have Home Depot there? How about this one?

Thanks
I'll go to my local Hardware and look for that. We have both Home Depot and RONA (Lowes) but they are 35- 40 km away. Cheers.
