Question Fridge check light

We have 2010 Salem by Forest River. We have our camper plugged into electric at a seasonal spot. When we turn the fridge on it seems fine however after a little while(sometimes hours/sometimes days) the check light comes on and the fridge and freezer stop working. We are not tripping any breakers in the breaker box so we are not sure why this is happening. When the fridge and freezer are running off of gas everything seems to work fine but we don’t want to leave the gas on when we are not at the camper. Any ideas as to what is going on? Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Is this a Dometic fridge? If so, what model?

Make sure the AC breaker to the box that the electric heating element is plugged in to has not tripped and you have AC power there.

Does it get hot when on electric if you feel the heat shield with your hand?

Seems like the absorption part is fine if it works ok on propane.

The circuit board checks temperature and if it doesn't make a certain temperature in a certain amount of time it shuts it off with an error (Norcold, I assume Dometic works same way).

Sent from I-95 in Coosawatchie SC while DW is driving LOL.
