Furnace SF-25FQ Dead
2021 Salem 28FKV
Ran furnace last night and it was working, this morning the thermostat was dead. It is a Airxcel thermostat. Found it had a blown fuse in it. Could not find a 2 amp fuse so I put in a 7 just to see if it would run. Fired right up and ran the complete cycle. When it called for heat again it blew the 7 amp fuse. I thought it was because it was a fast blow fuse and the original 2 amp was a slow blow. Found a slow blow 2 amp at Radio Shack and tried it. Same problem, blew it just as soon as it called for heat. Am I looking at a control panel issue, bad blower motor, or something easier? Located the on-off switch on the furnace itself and turned it off and back on but no help.
Thanks for any insight
