Just got a new 18 salem 27dbk have a question

Ok I honestly can’t remember how to. but mine has the blue under glow light, how can i turn that one on? The master control box turns on the interior lights and led light above awning, i had trouble with setting the color on the light strip above but I think in the day time I should see the sensor easier? Maybe batt replace in the color change remote? It did have 2 power buttons on remote. So maybe one of those control the bottom light?

The trailers use is full time living, since it’s a better option for me vs apartment lifestyle.

Funny you ask this question. I just picked up my 27dbk on Friday. I was going through it last night and was wondering the same thing. I finally found it. As you walk in the door turn around and look down and to the right inside the bottom bunk. There is a light switch and plug. Flip the switch. Hope this helps.

Thank you, for that information. I just got it yesterday, so my brain was probably on overload and I missed it?? Kinda like the color change light strip which was mentioned but wasn’t demonstrated. I should figure that out today.

That light strip is driving me nuts. I hit the flash button on the remote and couldn't get it to stop flashing for 10 mins.

I haven’t tried mine out yet, couldn’t find the sensor for it. Last night either that or my remote didnt work? Gonna try it again here pretty soon since its daylight.

My sensor was on the left hand of the light strip where the strip comes out of the wall. Should be a black tipped white wire sticking out.

I wish some one told me to get the 2 yr extended warrantee instead of the 5 yr which I have found to be a challenge. 150 for a 2 yr with FR

Forest River discontinued the 2nd year factory warranty. Anything more than 1st year is after market. Read the fine print carefully.

As was said, FR did away with the 2nd year factory warranty, for anything bought from June 1, 2017 and on.

I got the 5 year and gap when i did finance, for cheaper then the org payment price. Mine does have 6 years on the body. And 12 months on the day the electrical, etc
