LED light bulb STYLE (type)?

2018 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite 241QBXL

What bulb style (bulb type) is used for the LED ceiling lights?
How to open the housing to replace the bulb?

Also need more brightness for the range hood bulb. Has someone added a second socket/bulb under the hood?

Was able to take cover off the ceiling lights.
Looks like entire unit would have to be replaced, no 'bulb' per se in there.

Most of these light fixtures have modules with LED chips and driver components on them and not bulbs. You will have to change the module if you want to keep the fixtures the same. Be careful as the fixture may not be able to handle a higher wattage module due to heat restrictions. If you plan to do this, use good quality modules as the cheap ones use cheap drivers which create a lot of radio and tv interference.

I went on Amazon and ordered me some led bulbs, and I changed every light in my camper. It made a difference, but it took me awhile to get used to them. Now I can touch the light and it's not hot.

Mine (2018 Salem Cruise Lite) are already 'cold' (i.e. LED).
They are just ver BLUE (=cold, not a comfortable light).
With no reading lights, the one above the bed is a killer (and no easy to reach light switch).

For now, I will get 'warm' (not more than 4000 Kelvin) LED puck lights (battery) and stick one on each side of the closet/bed.

May later run wires (closet) and install wired reading lights.

DC, not AC

Bob, these fixtures are DC, as are the Light Emitting diodes within them. They also contain current-resistors to control the current (and wattage) dissipated in the fixture.

They should not be confused with AC LED (or CCFL) lamps which contain switched-mode power supplies which do cause radio frequency interference (RFI).

I switched out the light fixtures in my WolfPup to led's. I bought 8 of them on eBay at a great price. I sold the Wolfpup a month after we bought it but left the led's in it for the sale. I bought a Viking which came with led lighting. I added some extra fixtures with above the dinette seats to make reading easier. Those fixtures have a choice of light levels. I prefer the more blue light for reading with my older eyes. The yellow lights don't work for us as well.
