Looking for Salem 281qb

We are looking for the Salem 281QB and are having a hard time locating at a dealer. We live in South Florida and their are not many dealers down here. This floor plan is exactly what we are looking for and it's at the right price point for us.

I was wondering if anyone who owns one of these can chime in on their experiences with it? Can you tell me if you bought from a dealer or wholesaler?

I am have difficulty locating one in this area and would love a little insight on this trailer.

We have never owned an RV but have been looking for awhile and this one has all of our must haves.

Not owning a trailer before I would recommend you stay away from the wholesalers and locate the closest / best dealer you can, even if they're 100 - 200 miles away. You're gonna need to go to one eventually, may as well start building the relationship. Plus side is the initial pdi/walk through and question / answers you can get, first in person, then via phone or email.

We should be getting ours tomorrow. Bought it at Camping World in New Port Rickey, florida (near Tampa Bay Area). Ask for Dale 727-407-7209. I think they had 1 left....
