murphy bed

hello just bought 2022 forest river salem fsx & was going to make the murphy bed & noticed could see into the under storage. is it suppose to bed that way?

It would help if you posted the model number.
Some FSX models are regular TTs and others are toyhaulers.

New here myself. Just bought a new wildwood fsx with Murphy bed and yes it's supposed to be that way

That is the design. We have the WW 171RBXL. We have had no real issues with this set up. Nothing falls in the storage compartment and nothing in the compartment impedes the operation of the bed. We do not keep anything too harsh in that space. Just the shore power cord, our outside chairs and camp rug. I do store the WD bars there when not towing.

Yup, it can be an advantage if you need quick access. I don’t store anything there that is used on the exterior of the RV. I have a pick-up for that stuff. Cleaned off water hose and electric cords would be the max. I worry about the infestation off bugs and stuff so chairs, mats, bbq grill go in the truck.
