My 2006 Salem 27BHSS

Hi All,

I just picked up my Salem on Saturday and I'm trying to find out some additional information about it. I have the owners manual and some other literature for the appliances, but it is all very generic. I would like to know specifics such as water tank sizes, A/C sizes, power needs so I can buy the appropriate sized generator. There are many "optional" items and I don't know which, if any, of the options were added to this trailer (such as larger a/c or tanks).

I also need a battery as I did not get one and have no idea what battery size I need besides it being deep cycle.

Does anyone know how I can find this information, is there a contact I can call to provide my VIN and get a sales sticker like automobiles have?

Welcome to the forum and congrat on your new camper. There's only 2 A/C sizes, 13.5K and 15K. If you remove the interior shroud you should see a plate with size, model # etc. My guess is you have a 13.5K.

Thanks Wic, I'm assuming I do too, but wouldn't want to purchase a 3k watt generator and have issues powering the A/C and other appliances if it IS 15k btu.

I am having another issue with the rear window on the pack and play area. It will not close all the way, leaving about a 1/4" gap on the bottom right side (left side closes tight). I've read that the knob mechanism can become stripped and will keep spinning, but mine doesn't keep spinning it stops tightly. Is there any adjustment I can make the right side?
