New 2 me 2006 27BH - #2

Well it looks like the original thread by this name is no longer viable so I have started another one.

Here is what I have done one month and a year from purchase. I hope the original list and the additions in this new one will help others who buy a used TT get an idea of what they may both need and want to do.

- Suspension
1. Flipped axles using the dexter flip kit includes bolts with zirks
2. Installed EZ Flex system to smooth ride

- Roof
1. Re caulked roof to fill shrink cracks
2. Used EternaBond on all possible wear or tear spots

- Frame
1. Installed new electric jack stand
2. Removed rear skids and replaced with 5,000# casters
3. Added spare tire mount to bumper and spare

- Heating and cooling
1. Installed digital thermostat
2. Had LP valve in furnace replaced (was leaking)

- Comfort
1. Built and installed ladder for small children to reach top bunk
2. Converted bottom bunk to baby crib and play area

How did you do the ladder for the bunks? That's something I would like to do also. Thanks.
