new camper

Can anyone tell me if the 2009 Forrest River TT salem la 312 bhbs is top, middle or low end camper? I am looking at purchasing one, the layout with the bunks and entertainment center is what we are wanting but there are other types of camper that have these options also. The sellers is wanting around 15k for the camper. The camper looks very nice but would like more input from folks who know more then I do. Thanks in advance.

It was probably a middle of the road TT back in 2009. Have them set up the camper and have everything working before you purchase it. Run the AC (if they can...if its in their driveway they may not have a 30amp outlet, run water, flush toilet, fill the tanks, run hot water, turn on burners, and most importantly run both slides in and out to make sure they are moving correctly. Walk around and see if anything is leaking and if you can....take a look at the roof.

If I were you, i'd try and get them to throw in the weight distributing hitch with the deal.

If everything works (or you know any issue's upfront) you will be a lot happier with your purchase. Looks like it could be a fun buy!

I believe MSRP new on that was around $32k which means they probably bought it in 2009 new for around $24k or $25K

nada

The nada shows the value to be around 20k low retail to 25 k high retail it seems that is a little high but when you put all the adds in on the camper that is what it shows.
