Bought a new Salem cruise lite while on vacation and am wondering if I attach tv mounts to the entertainment center will it void my warranty?

Welcome to the forum. I would look to see if the manufacture of the TT offered them if so you should be good to go. Later RJD

I'm always facinated as to why folks buy an RV to go camping (or whatever you want to call it) and then spend inordinate amount of time fussing over a television.
If you're camping, then camp., If you want to watch Television, stay home.

my response to your comments, I have a TV set in my unit and the only time we use it is when the weather is bad and to check the weather in the morning when I get up to see what the day has to offer.

Agreed! We have 3 televisions in our camper. I admit to being a television junkie. We tent camped for almost 30 years. I had enough of the outdoors with the bugs, rain, snow (yes, snow!), that I don't feel one bit guilty about watching television while at a campsite.

I would not worry about the warranty. It is very common for dealers to install a tv with a mount as part of the deal. If it is a swivel tv area like mine, they are designed to be installed on the platform with a mount.

Enjoy your camper.....and watch as much tv as you like!!

Just spent two weeks driving around Oregon, On the coast it was hot and humid so after playing tourist going back to the lite with it's home like features (tv, A/C, cold drinks) was quite the relief.

Just the one tv in the main room, will never hang one in the bedroom.

This coming from a guy with a 2015 Hemisphere 282RK? I thought camping purist used tents, coolers and sleeping bags?
Are you saying you special ordered your trailer without a TV or dvd player or you removed the ones that came with it? Come on now, what do you do when it rains, sit there and play with the soggy ashes? Do you have a crank weather radio that you fire up when it gets cloudy so you know if you should run? You could also say the same with the radio, if you're camping, then camp. If you want to play music, then stay home? Did you remove your radio too?
That is the cool thing about modern camping, we can stay out of the bugs and rain at night or during a storm and still not want to go home.

Ox I don't know if you meant too but you sounded like a pompous ass with what you said. He didn't ask for your opinion on his lifestyle.

Op, I don't see why a TV mount would void your warranty. I put two in mine mainly for the kids and rainy days. Not that I owe anyone here an explanation of what I do or how I do it...

I don't RV camp necessarily to be outside, although I do spend quite some time outside, hence I own a toyhauler, but I RV camp to get away from home and the routine.

I have two TV's in mine.

Mounting a TV won't void any major warranty. Only problem I forsee is if the TV fell and maybe put a hole in the floor...that's probably not a warranty problem. However if you mount right and sturdy I don't see why it would fall off anyways.
