newbie question 196BH
What do you guys use to put under the hitch when you are camping? Also do you use anything to back the wheels onto to help level it out?
I have also been looking at adding some scissor jacks in the front but want to camp in it first to see the stability before I do this.
Thanks in advance!

In both cases pieces of pressure treated wood work or you can buy these: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...-10-pack/56865
Stabilizer jacks are just that, for stabilizing, not leveling.

2x6 blocks under jack and stabs.
Lynx Levelers under tires to level.
Homemade tandem wheel chocks.

Well there's a couple things to consider. You need to level the camper so everything isn't falling off the tables or walking at an angle through it. 😆. Also you need the fridge to be level while it's running.
Buy the stick on levels. One on the front for the left and right and one for the side so it's level from front to back.
A level camper is a comfortable camper. They sell the bag of leveling blocks. They're great for backing up on.
If your level is on the number 1 you only need 1 block etc.
For the front. I have pressure treated wood to sit it down on.

We added front stabilizer scissor jacks (the same capacity as the rear stabilizer jacks) to our 195BH. The trailer was just to wobbly in the front with just support from the tongue jack. Now very stable in the front.

What kind of levels are you talking about that have numbers on them? Is it just trial and error once you pull until you guess how many blocks you need to get it good and level?

Put blocks under low side wheels to level side to side first. Unhook and use tongue jack to level front to back. Lower stabilizers to prevent rocking.

I made a box out of PT 2x10 that can be used on 3 sides for different height needs, it is hollow with a center support, for its size it is lightweight and very sturdy! The size you will need depends on your TV and hitch height! We use Poly ramps for leveling quick and easy, our unit Always needs raised on the "Slide side"1" if the Site is level! Yes you will need stab jacks on the front ! Youroo! !

There are literally dozens of leveling videos on the Internet.

Something like this, and you can get them at many places, WalMart, RV dealer, Amazon.... Use one on the front and one on the side.
