Power Stabalizer Operation

I recently bought a 2017 Salem Hemisphere 23rbhl with electric stabalizers. Here's a question... I'm looking for your experience with the power stabalizers.

If one side makes contact with the ground... does the other side automatically go down to the ground.. or do you have to keep running until both sides are all the way down? What keeps the first one from breaking or motor burning up if the second stabalizer has 3 or 4 more inches to go?

if the system is the same as on my 2018 RKSS (lippert systems) ... There will be no "lift pressure" until both stabilizers are grounded. The system slides side to side until it feels even resistance.

I keep mine on until the camper moves a little. Then I let go. I want to have a little pressure on the stabilizers.

They "float' until both feet contact the ground and then they evenly put pressure on the surface. Even with that, I usually add a few 'lego' leveling blocks to get it close if the site isn't level side to side.
