Propane tank covers

How do you attach the cover that goes over the propane tanks? Mine currently just slides over them, does anyone do anything to secure it down?

I never bothered. Just slip it on and leave it till a tanks dry and needs to be refilled.

Mine just slips over and isn't secured by anything and I've never had a problem. Mine goes over really tight though, not forcing it on but, close to it.

When I bought my TT this year, I asked the dealer the same question. According to him he has never one come off unless physically removed by the owner or someone else.

Was thinking for when the trailer is on the storage lot for anti-theft purposes.
