Renting your Salem ultra-light?

Does anyone have experience renting their camper? How did it hold up?

Mine is holding up very well so far, but we only use it about six weeks a year on average, I guess.

Please chime in if you have experience in this area.

"I wouldn't rent my camper to anyone" is not really very helpful. I understand everyone would have to make their own decision about this.

One thing to consider is that the renters probably won't treat it as well as you do. Get a damage and cleaning deposit.

Nearly all that I've read posts from who did, regret it.

Agreed, and I think that is part of the standard procedure.

Not many understand our systems and would lead to problems IMO. Think a poop pyramid built quickly or toilet overflow for starters.

I have a friend that is a renter of Class C rvs. Some of the storys he has told me about are very scary! I would check with my Ins. Co. and if you have an after sale warranty company. May be a bigger headache then its worth!

Well we bought our RV to get away from whatever is left over in the motel rooms after the cleaning crew is done.

I would not be a fan of renting out our unit and have to clean up after someone else.
