Salem 2021 interior sliding doors

Our 2021 Salem has two interior sliding/barn doors-bathroom and bedroom. After traveling last week, one of the “hooks” on one of the doors disconnected from the door leaving one end off the track while other “hook” was still connected. Husband cant get fingers into the track-how do we fix this so door slide again? Is there a quick trick to get it to lock into the door again? Or does he have to take the trim off to get at it?
