Salem 230bhxl pass through/Murphy bed

Do all of the trailers with murphy beds have the mattress open to the outside pass through when stored? I was stowing some items and my mattress is clearly open to that area.

This is interesting, because my epro murphy was closed off from the side storage areas (not pass-through).

I wanted pass-through storage with the bed down so I intentionally cut the thin plywood dividers to make them removable.

Nice, thanks for the pictures. Mine is a 2019 which has a smaller access door, no pass through. I can see why you closed yours off.
