Ran a tie down strap between the I-beam frame rails. That works until I schedule "Warranty Work From Hell" at Camping World during camping off season.

So, I'm guessing if I proactively get a support beam welded on, I'll void my TT chassis warranty, and I have to wait for it to fail (which, w/ Murphy's Law will happen at the most inconvenient time possible) and then get the manufacturer to "approve" the repair?

Believe your analysis is correct.

When I first brought my camper 7 months ago, the folks here on the Forum gave me some great advise........when possible solve/repair the issue yourself if you have the skills.

Warranty work can be a challenge.

I learned the hard way that their advise is worth GOLD.

A $10 strap solved my fresh water tank issue.

We ordered 2022 Salem 178BHSK one month ago. We may need to wait another month for arrival.
About the fresh water tank sagging issue. How do you fix that by adding 2, 1 1/2" angle iron supports? Can you post a pic plz?

I search youtube, maybe this is a way to go, use a wood pad and rails.

And here is a simplified solution, only add rails.

They are salem, but not 178BHSK. Looks like other salem models have the same problem.

Are you saying you installed a ratchet strap laterally under the tank, between the main rt/lt chassis beams?
