Salem hemisphere 356qb front landing gear
Hey everyone, we are at the camp ground and the front landing gear sounds like the motor is going to quit at any minute, any fixes or encounters with this?
Also landing gear switch will not work, but remote operates it fine. Any thoughts?

There's a fuse inline with the switch power, between the switch and battery, Try replacing it and see if the motor sounds better.
The remote power is a smaller wire that's ran a greater distance than the switch wires, so it will have a greater voltage drop.
Once you report back about how that turns out, we can work on the motor and/or gears.

thx for helping bama, i traced the wire from the plug through the front compartments, no inline fuse. The wire goes into the battery box area, two inline fuses there. Not sure if those are for the battery or not.

There definitely should be an inline fuse at about the center above the front compartment. You have to pull it out from inside the plastic that is around the wires to protect them. I put a resettable fuse in mine. I have shown this fuse to several other 356qbq owners at campgrounds. Also, are you aware of the hidden fuse panel behind the wall in the pass thru storage compartment?

My landing gear fuse was hidden in the wire loom behind the battery also. Had to open up the loom to see it.

Here you go.
Ignore the mess. I'm still waiting on my breaker panel to show up.
Damn customs.

You said out is working normally now. Do you mean that the manual switch that wasnt working before is working too?

Thanks for coming back and letting us know that you found and fixed the problem.
I guess you'll be carrying a few extra fuses with you, huh?

Absolutely, went and bought a a pack and threw them in the toolbox. I think I had the fuses that I didn't need. Lol.
Let me know if you have some trouble shooting for the light not working. I'm going to look into the build replacement.

Check the bulbs first, then go looking for power. I'm not too familiar with how those are powered.
There isn't a function on the remote for that light is there?
