Shower knob broke off

Our shower knob broke off and we are camping. If I turn on the pump so we can flush the toilet. Etc. Water shoots out from where the knob is supposed to be. Is there a way to turn off just the shower water? Is there a valve somewhere? Thanks

No separate shut off valve for the shower or sinks in a R/V.

You could easily go to Lowe's or Home Depot or any good plumbing store and buy a 'Shark-Bite" inline shut off and plumb it into the supply line. (typically PEX tubing)

With a 'Shark-Bite' type fitting, all that is required for installation is to cut the PEX tubing and push the ends of the line into the fitting.

Well... the shower knob needs to be fixed anyway so if the hubby isn't handy, you may as well call a repair person right now.

A good mobile repair person will have you fixed up in a jiffy.

The water feed line for the faucet is a screw-on fitting that should be accessible using the inspection port. If you remove the cold feed line to the faucet, you can screw a plastic plug into the fitting which will stop the water flow until you can get a replacement faucet. Any hardware store should have the plugs.
