Stair treads in 5th wheel

I would like to replace the carpet on my stairs in our Hemisphere 327 RES. Looking for ideas of how/what you have done. Pictures would be helpful. I have noticed that the carpet folds under the treads and around the risers.
All help is greatly appreciated

You'll likely need to remove some panels in the basement storage and gain access to the underside of the steps that go into the upper level. I don't have your model but both my current model and my previous model, the step treads were fastened from underneath with screws.

Thanks, I have removed the panel directly behind the steps. There is a 2”x2” frame for the rear part of the stairs but it looks like the steps are screwed from above. I’ll look a little deeper when it warms up a little.
