Walk on roof

I have a 2021 Salem cruise lite model 263 BHXL. Can I walk on the roof?

you can walk on all TT roofs... hopefully you are not 300#
I am 250# and I walk on mine... mind you I am careful around openings
and always wary if I find a soft spot possibly caused by water leakage...

use a 2x4 foot of 1/2 inch plywood to distribute your weight a bit if you are very concerned

I have a second generation FSX 167RBK. Mine has some flex so I won’t be on mine. Fortunately the camper is short and not that wide so I have great access just leaning over.

Not all roofs are walkable, and you must know what type of roof material you have.Feb 11, 2022
Call FR with your vin#. They will let you know along with what type of membrane was used in the production of your unit:
