Water after opening slide
So on Sunday we had a rainstorm with some high winds, checked the camper and everything looked good on the inside. So then fast forward to last night and I went to open up the slide as we are going to be packing it to get ready for the weekend, and as I am opening it I am hearing water rushing and hitting the ground. I then look and see it coming inside also on the lower corners, any thoughts as to where this water would have been and how it got in there?

Do you have a slide topper?
Ours kept rainwater from getting inside when opening.

Was your slide closed completely when it rained? Very possible you didn't have it closed all the way and the seal wasn't made.

Maybe reclose it and have someone go inside while you hose it down. If it is leaking you might be able to find out where.

slider leak.
Could be your slide-out topper. Ours has been stretched and has a slight dip in the middle. During heavy rains (PNW), the topper sags, water accumulates on top, and when you close the slider it all spills over the side. No big deal. Now with the sag, the water also tracks to the edge of the topper, defies gravity, and tracks under the topper and drips dead center on the slide. When I close the slide the seals are letting some of that standing water inside. Very little but enough to get a towell and wipe it up. I originally thought the topper was leaking but I watched the rain track under the topper and drip on top of the slide. I need to replace the material or get a new slide topper.

The OP already stated that they DON'T have a slide topper.

It is almost imposable to keep a slide fully water tight with the rubber seals and flap on the top if you have a rain storm. You need to have a tilt on your unit water will not flow into it, or at least keep water infiltration to a minimum. With the slide 'out', the tilt will go to the slide side. when bringing the slide in, the unit will 'settle' and slightly tilt in the other direction. Is your unit 'level' with the slide in? Tilt is a little more to the slide side.

Water after opening slide
Hey you can slide a small air float or something like that under the slight dip that will rise the topper up allow the water to flow off just remember to remove before you slide the room back in.

He has no topper on his slide. The slide was already closed and when he opened it, water came off the top of the slide. Water was on top of the slide when it was closed and somehow came into the unit (when it was closed). This is how I am reading the OP post.

X2. But it is humorous reading all the replies.
I would think the OP has failed slide seals. I would close it up and visually check the seals all around to see if the seals are bad or the slide needs adjusting.
