Water pump usage

Hey all, I’m curious how long everyone is leaving their water pumps on? Of course leaving it on nonstop wouldn’t be a great idea. But is 10 minutes good? 20? What does everyone consider “too” long??

I don't quite understand the question. You can turn it 'on' and leave it on as long as you want. It's primarily going to draw power when you use it. You don't want to leave it on if you are connected to city water though.

If you are stationary and the pump shuts off, then it shouldn't hurt anything to leave the power on. It sure beats getting off the toilet and finding the pump power off.

Since you only use the water pump with the fresh water tank, we only turn it off when we leave the trailer and during the night. Both our trailers had the pump switch in the bathroom.
The pump should only come one when there's a demand for it.
