We use pieces of Reflectix slid behind the shades in the bedroom. Helps a little with some insulation too. DW made a small drape for the entrance door that we attach with velcro.

My wife would use black felt to cover the windows in our old trailer. This was inexpensive and could be put up and taken down easy. Just over hang the shades and clip too the valances.
