35ROK Gas Grill
I purchased a 2013 unit and the grill is pretty rusted out. Any recommendations on a replacement?
Can you get an OEM replacement?
Thanks

I have seen them for sale online. Check eBay and Craig's List first. Many folks never use them and sell them. Mine is going on their soon. Seems like every FR unit has the same one.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll do some looking around and see what I can find. Keep me in mind when you decide to let yours go.....maybe we can work out a deal.

We took the entire assembly off and sold it. The grill never performed that we'll and I did not like having my grill that close to the wall. Much prefer our Q.

Thanks, I've been looking at the Q grill too.

Cohiba, watch the classifieds on the FR forum if you aren't in a hurry. Some buy a rig with the grill package and take it off to use one they had previously bought. We lucked out and found one within an hours drive like that, that someone just wanted to get rid of. Never been used. I say that you can pick up, because shipping would be expen$ive.

I took off the grill off the swing arm and replaced it with a Weber q220. It took some fabricating to make it work but it fit perfect. I used a combination of eye bolts and threaded rods and I can't remember what else. I would take pics, but I have sold the trailer since. If you decide to use a different grill be sure to take the quick connect fitting off your old grill. I think I used the regulator off of it too.

Ours didn't come with anything but the gas line and quick connector. Our dealer told us he wouldn't sell us the BBQ because they "don't work all that well".
I ask him if he could get us the fitting for the quick connector and he said he didn't have a source for them. But if we were to hook up our 2000Q it wouldn't work due to the fact the gas line is already pressure regulated. I'm wondering how we could remove the regulator from our 2000Q and use it on the trailer line. I'd hate to ruin the BBQ because we really like it, also use it on the house patio so removing it's own regulator would ruin it for home use.
Oh the problems we make for ourselves.

I found several YouTube videos on how to convert a grill. It's pretty easy and parts can be found at most hardware stores.

If I can't find a replacement I'll look into modifying the existing setup to accommodate a Q-Grill. Thanks

I purchased a "t" adapter that connects to our propane tanks and a 16' hose. The adapter is left on the tank and still allows the propane to flow to the RV regulated but the line to the grill is unregulated. Just connect the hose and good to go. Also it allows me to keep the grill under the awning. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.

Thanks. My trailer has a quick connect gas hookup at the rear of the trailer already.
