371REBH TV Cable and Satellite never works

We don't actually watch much tv other than through streaming video or for CDs. Still, occasionally we would like to pick up some channels. I have never yet once been able to either
a. Get any challenels with the regular antenna or
B. Get any channels using the cable connection. I only recently tried using a cable connection. It looks to me like there are two coaxile cables available from the mess of cables leading into the TV. One is already hooked up to the only coaxil input. I assume that's the antenna. The other is hanging loose. I've tried disconnecting the one I think is from the antenna and connecting the loose one, but that didn't do any good.

Our TV by the way is a HiSense Roku and the manual is of no help in this matter.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I had to change cables around as well. And the connection up front for Sat/cbl is labeled wrong.

I also have a 2017 371rebh and TV is a challenge there are two things to know. 1st if you want cable you have to push a button on one of the cable faceplate in your right
I think they hide it as a joke as mine in above the TV in the main bedroom and can only be seen from the end. If green light on its looking for TV signal if not the Cable will work. That's step one. Then you have to go to each TV and menu and scan for channels. Once that is done you are good to go.

I was at a park that offered free cable so I ran to hardware store n bought a length of coaxial cable, connected cable to rv & park connection. Got nothing but always got some channels with the rv antenna. Spoke with the local park help & he said look for a button/switch at or near TV to switch to cable. Found a tiny button behind TV # 2 in master & that did it. Then just selected cable on remote. Hope this helps.

You must turn the switch off like everyone I saying in the main bedroom. I know on ours when hooking up the satellite to the rear tv you need to use the main tv input and not the rear tv input.
