Are thermal pane windows worth it ???

Moving from our 365saq to a sandpiper 385fkbh. Choice of two at dealer. Both have 2nd air conditioner, one has thermal pane window option. We were told these windows are much better for heating and cooling seasons and worth the extra money. Plus, they are suppose to reduce condensation in cold weather. Anyone else gone with these windows? Were they worth it. Dealer claims its a $1835 option at their cost. What did it cost you.

We had dual pane windows in our class c but not on our current fifth wheel. I wish we had dual pane windows now that I've experienced not having them and would probably pay for the upgrade if you're going to do a fair amount of camping in cooler weather.

Just my thoughts.....

Dual Pane MSRP on our 2014 Cedar Creek 34RLSA was $1450.

We believe they're worth it.

$1835 cost? Dealer may be blowing a little smoke.

Good link from spierce617. I think anybody that has them will say they're worth the expense. We're glad we got them when we ordered our Sabre.

1800 Seems high but there are a ton of windows in that rig. Second ac is only 500 so they're making it up a bit.

Just looked at the Sandpiper 385fkbh floor plan and I counted 18 windows some of which are quite large, hence the high cost. You gotta remember they help out with condensation and when you use the furnace too. Plus they help keep exterior noise down when you've got the windows and doors closed.
