Hydraulic Jacks (Landing Gear) Problem

Have been having our Sandpiper 2012 315 RET (fifth wheel) since March with really no issues until now. We tried to hook up the truck to our hitch without any luck. The landing gear switch went out (or so we thought). We have replaced the switch but still does not function properly. The jacks are down on the ground and the RV is extended all the way up. But will not retract at all. We have added more hydraulic fluid, changed the switch out, and checked the fuse. We can't move the camper to get it worked on and fixed. We have tried the manual override...same issue-will extend but will not retract. Has anyone ever had this experience??

Frustrated!!

As an emergency fix only, disconnect one of the hyd lines on each ram and drain the fluid into a container.

Just a question.

Over extended and in a bind?

I would be cautious in doing this! Once you release the pressure from a line, the 5er is going to drop.
