Picking Up 379 FLOK this week.

Wife and I are picking up our new 2018 379 Flok at the end of the week. Our first fifth wheel. It is an upgrade from our current TT that is 25 ft.
Will take it easy towing it home, hoping for good weather, but looks like rain so far in forecast. Then we will repack it with all the stuff out of our old trailer, that is currently residing in my living room. Do a shakedown camp at home for the evening, then a quick weekend get away also close to home to get used to the unit.

We got ours in April. Love it, pulls great compared to all the other campers I have pulled. We're pulling with a 2017 F-350 Dully diesel. Enjoy.

we have made a modification to ours already after a first day incident.
We added a hook and eye to the bedroom door. Our bedroom door popped open while opening the slides and jammed the slide bending the brackets that hold the slide, gouging the side of the slide and crumpling the trim on the bottom. Dealership has said they will fix, but I did not want it to ever have the chance to happen again.

Just be careful of the bedroom door. Ours popped open while putting out the slides and it jammed the slide causing damage. I installed a 4 inch hook and eye, put the eye in the door, the hook on the wall. From now on when we go to open, I put the hook in, then open the slides, no way the door can open up and cause this to happen again.

Otherwise we really like it and can't wait to get it out and camping.

Sadly a good idea that came after the damage. But hoping others can benefit from our misfortune. It is a bad design flaw, and something that could or should be addressed by the manufacturer. I understand they may not like the door to out in the hallway, but could prevent these kinda things from happening.
But it is ok, our idea also will prevent it from happening again in the future.

So we picked up our new trailer. Brought it home, put in a 50 amp receptacle so we could have power. Then we started loading up our stuff that came out of our TT. Labeled the switches, put in spice holders, things are coming along.

Looks great. We bought some picture display shelves at Lowes and put one on each side of the bed to set our drinks and glasses on at night.

Glad to see you like it. Ours was supposed to be in last weekend. It was delivered yesterday. We pick it up Thursday. Excited to get it home. If you done mind me asking? How much did it cost you to put in the 50 amp service?

I don't have 50 amp service at home for my rv. Is that what you mean.

Sorry. Thought you had service at home. I am thinking of putting a plug on my pole barn for the trailer.

It could get pricey if it is far away from the house. The only reason you would need 50 amp is if you are planning on using air conditioners
