Good lookin' truck, Golf! I did the same thing mid Sept. '11 had 31k on it, but came across a '13 and they had discounted it 17k of MSRP and couldn't pass it up. Now if I can keep my 16yr daughter out of it, she loves this truck for some reason.

I actually have two sets of tubes under mine. The first set is actually square 5" vinyl fence posts Veranda 5 in. x 5 in. x 8 ft. White Vinyl Fence Post-73010700 at The Home Depot that I keep the gutter slide in from Lowe's. Here is the write up on that http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...mod-37460.html...Then I have another set of round tubes just in front of the wheels that I keep my awning tie down poles in. Here is teh write up on that http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...bes-42416.html

You need a set of awning pole attaching brackets.

Ok educate me. What is the purpose of the poles and are they a commercially available item or user made.
Thanks Marc

They are not commercially available, f1100turbs and I are the only ones making them for folks. Some folks buy the attaching brackets from me and fabricate their own poles.
The purpose of the poles is to hold the awning from moving in the wind/rain.
