2017 Sierra 343RSOK TV Booster Switch

Posting this on behalf of my brother, but they had TV signal while parked in the driveway, but got to the campsite and no signal to either TV. Need to know where the booster switch is, and if anybody has had this issue in the recent past. Thanks.

Booster switch is commonly near a TV. Did he do a new scan when he set up at his campsite? How far out in the boonies is he? You can go to antennaweb.org and find out where the stations are located for antenna aiming.

We looked around and behind the TV in the living area with no luck. Thought there was what looked to be the booster switch tucked up behind the small TV in the bedroom and the light was on.

We’re camped next to them in our Cedar Creek and are getting 20+ channels. They have the King/Jack antenna without the signal led’s on it.

Should be a wall plate somewhere. Black or white usually has a coax fitting on it and almost always near a TV. Is it possible he doesn't have an antenna with an amplified head? It's an Easter Egg Hunt sometimes. The outside cable and roof antenna wires meet at the booster switch wall plate. What brand of antenna does he have?

They have a King/Jack without the signal meter. Tried rotating it several times an rescanning. The TVs were working fine 20 minutes before this happened.

Wire could have come off at the antenna connection. I think this is my current problem. For some reason, the antenna became hard to rotate and won't rotate completely like before, limited to about 180 degrees. I think the cable came off and/or is wrapped around inside. I don't get anything over the air at the moment, but I haven't been too worried about it. I may try to get that fixed or look into more this week.

The booster switch in our Sandpiper is on the coax outlet in the bedroom on the ceiling if that helps.

One is in the bedroom right next to the tv outlet and has a coax coming out also. Just use a splitter and tap into yours for the time being.
