3350BH 2017 water issues

The couch Windows plugs missing. Of course first night rained all inside camper. Did not even have it 6 days . Took back to dealer as we hooked it up water came gushing out of front end. It will be in service department when we make our first payment.

Excuse my ignorance... what are 'couch Windows plugs' and how did they allow it to 'rained all inside the camper'?

Sofa ( auto correct got me) the window behind it. There are 4 plugs on the top of the window. Which this window was missing. So the heavy down pours we had all week long allowed the rain to saturate the floor behind the sofa.

OK thanks. I guess I just don't understand.
I've never seen any R/V windows that need some kind of plug to keep them from leaking.
In fact, I've seen windows leak from not having the frame weep holes cleaned so you would never want to plug them.

Any chance of a photo?

OK... if they look like the ones in the photo below... they are NOT to be plugged.
They are as you said... drain holes. They allow water to drain OUT of the window/frame.

If you plug them, you are asking for problems.
If your windows leak, it isn't because of these holes needing plugs.
They likely leak because they are not sealed properly to the side of the unit.

Either way. The service manager ordered us a new window/ frame. Ordered two side box doors they put the wrong ones on. Ours open up not side to side, so all the drill holes are in the wrong place. Right now he has a machine dehumidifier inside drying the unit out. Still has to figure out where all the water came that gushed out the front under belly when we hooked it up. The plugs are the ones on the top of the window, he even pointed that out. The window rained on the inside where every one of those was located. So he is sealing all the Windows. Might just say I am paying for a lemon to get patched. I was told three strikes and it is theirs.

I hope your new trailer get back up and running but if it doesn't work do not get your hopes up of just giving it back. Most states there is not a lemon law on trailers and you could give it back but it would be at a loss to you.

I know, but I will raise immoral hell over it. They will hear me all the way California. Thank you. That was supposed to be my stress reliever. I have cancer and stress is not good for it. Well since I got it, my stress level is thru the roof.

Some times they are in the beginning because of the lack of quality control. Once you get past that you will enjoy the time away.

It is always easy to Monday morning quarterback but the sad truth is that they (all the RV makers) seem to be the same way. It is a sad part of this business.

Once you get the bugs worked out you should be fine. I've had mine a year and a half and I know of a few bugs that need attention still but mostly we are good to go. I just haven't taken the time to sort out the last couple. 1 being a factory issue, a second being the dumbass service dept. that replaced our roof after a tree limb damaged it. Sorry I ever used that place to do anything to our unit. EVERYTHING they did was half a$$ed unfortunately.

We went yesterday to see what progress there was on the window order and the two compartment doors. The original window plugs was filled up with silicone. No window in yet, the compartment doors he forgot to order. He had not check on the front leak, said well he thought when they pressure washer the underside they may have sprayed water up the under belly. Makes me feel real good about the service department. Oh I climbed up on the roof to check it out, some parts of the seal missing. Good luck
