Installing a vent cover over a fantastic fan

I installed vent covers on all 4 standard vents on my trailer and they work great. I would like to intall another over the fantasic fan in the bathroom but the fan housing is plastic. All the other standard vents have a metal flang that you attached the bracket to but the FF has plastic. What would be the best way to attach? Not sure if it would be strong enough if I did it the way the others were done.

I mounted a max air II to my fantastic fan vent and mounted the same . Albeit I had to remove inner screen and flange to install nuts and bolts .
Took about 15 minutes longer than others.

Max air II over my fan-tastic in bathroom and bedroom.

I just drilled into the plastic but put a piece of tape on the drill bit so I could gauge how deep into the housing it penetrated.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was just screws....

Take the fan speed knob off
Take the screen and inner plate down
Drill holes from outside
Push tthrough bolts and install nuts.
Didn't go through any plastic

I just installed the Fantastic vent that is designed specifically for the Fantastic fan, it works well and has very good air flow, no restrictions. It just came on the market not too long ago I believe.

Just installed a fantastic fan in the bedroom and two fantastic smoke colored vent covers. Not to terribly hard to do...hardest thing is getting up on the roof. Possibly a bit more involved...you remove 4 of he screws securing the fan....removing some dicot and re sealing the vent in those four areas. You use some longer screws and a clip to allow the cover to be removed easily with the pull of a few cotter pins. Once fully assembled they seem pretty stiff and allow for good airflow. I would like a screen on the vent however.
