I have a 2017 343RSOK , we have a light switch near the fan as well. It controls pendant lights over sink and light under Cabinet over the buffet/bar.

We don't have buffet/bar so maybe that's what it would have been for? The right switch controls the pendant lights as yours does.

Is the only way to control your hall light is from the control panel? That seems weird, as that light would be wanted a lot.

Weird switches in my 5ver:

1. The one by the entry door that controls a fixture in the living area that has yet another switch on the fixture. To muck it up further, there is now a Vortex fan on that circuit as well.

2. I didn't know the trailer had a step light, but found a switch in the "Control Panel" cabinet that did "nothing"... took some time but figured out it was a step light.

3. We have a "Johnny in a box" bathroom. The fan and light in there are like in the living area, the wall switch controls both, and the light has it's own redundant switch. So the switch on the wall might as well not be there as we leave it on all the time.

Solved - mostly

We closed up today. Pulled electric, then while about to disconnect the battery I saw the 2 lights on the front end were on !! Went inside and flipped the mystery switch, and those lights WENT OFF.
