No level LEDs for water tanks

Checking out my '16 371REBH after sitting for 9 months and find my LEDs for tank levels are all dead. Not even the empty led works. All worked last time we used it, although the black tank showed 1/2 full all the time. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to start checking? I don't relish removing the bottom cover if I don't have to.

Can you post a picture of your panel? That way we can determine what type of system you have and go from there.

On my last 5or 6 campers I lit them during pdi. That’s the 1st and last time all but the FW button was pushed. Repairing is a waste of time as they will be telling lies soon after.
If you really want them and to actually work, get an after market tank exterior system.

No LEDs for Water Tanks

Probably a ground problem. Try grounding the bottom sensor on one of the tanks. I would suspect the Scotch Loc connections.

On the backside of your panel is a logic module that controls the LED's.

Connector:

Red wire 12V
White wire ground
Blue wire FW tank
Brown wire black tank
Gray wire gray tank

Normally, the 12V wire is piggybacked off one of the switches in the panel.
Same for the ground wire.

Each tank has a 12V wire (from the module), 3 sensor wires and a ground wire

Hope this helps you some.

Same thing happened to my 2017 371REBH. I removed the control panel and found a sticker on the back of my panel (photo 2) for a Positron company with their number and part number. I called and ordered a replacement. I had to specify the number of function buttons on the small circuit board. I installed it and it works great. Click image for larger version

Thanks for the help, it would appear my board is bad, as only the battery indicator works. It is a Positron 507-1 board, so I guess I'll contact them tomorrow.

Installed the new board and all is working. I now have fresh water level monitoring, which I have never had before. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for coming back and following up on the fix.
Many do not and we never know.
