OneControl option on 379FLOK

Hello everyone, my wife and I have about decided to start looking for a used 379FLOK after having our TT for almost 11 years. We love the floorplan and it seems like a good fit.

My question revolves around the OneControl system I see here on the forums. I don't see any mention of it in the brochure and I haven't seen it in any of the descriptions of the used trailers I have seen although I have seen forum posts by individuals who have the system. Is is an option and if so how common it is and what year did they start offering it?

As we do about 80% of our camping in national parks or forests with no hookups, I will be adding an Onan 5500 to it. How common are the gen prep packages as I don't see those in any of the description either. I like the AGS function that is now in the OneControl software.

I will probably ask a bunch of other questions if I can't find the answers to via google as we get closer to the purchase.

I did find a thread on the Jayco owners forum of a guy who has added the OneControl system to his Jayco that didn't have it from the factory.

We own a 2017 Sandpiper which is the sister brand to Sierra. It didn't come with the One Control nor was it listed to us as an option.

I'd say that's Flyboy369 that's looking. We're happy with our Sandpiper. Just keeping the thread alive so hopefully they'll see your reply.

I'd also add that I don't think gen prep packages were common if at all available in the Sandpiper/Sierra line. I don't think it would be a difficult retrofit, just be sure of the dimensions of the generator and where you wish to install it. You may also want to check out the battery bay. Depending on the number of batteries you wish to install, you may need to make a retrofit there as well. Many of the later models came with residential fridges which will put a higher demand when your off grid. You can likely install everything you want, but it will require some work.
