"Racetrack" A/C ducting

I have a 2016 387 MKOK. Does anyone know if the dometic blizzard A/C units run what they are calling "racktrack" ducting? If so, that could explain why we are seeing the duct work continue after the last outlet in the back of the coach. It is just making the turn and coming back up the other side. I know some people have taped the duct so it doesn't go into what we think is nowhere.

On our 2017 sandpiper it had the race track duct. Except the oval was in the bedroom. The rear just ended almost 3-4 feet before the rear of the camper. I took lights out to verify it was taped up. And it was.

That is so crazy. I wonder why they wouldn't make it loop back around on both ends
