Rear Mounted Bike/Cargo Rack

I know this has been covered elsewhere in the forum, but mainly for people lighter weight trailers.
Lippert makes some rear storage options that can either be bolted or welded onto the frame in front if the rear bumper.
They claim that adding a Lippert accessory will not void the frame warranty.
Has anyone tried these?
I'm looking at the bolt-on flip-down bike carrier.
