RV wobble

Newbie here. Just got and set up my 5er and used auto level. It is level but has a wobble to it especially in the rear. I have the 6 jack auto level. The jacks are extended pretty far out on the rear. I think if I pull up the rear jacks and add some leveling blocks so the jack is not extended so far and relevel that that will take care of it. Am I barking up the wrong tree? Also if the tires are off the ground on one side by about an inch do I need to put blocks under it? The Curse of the newbie.

This is a 6pt levelup system? Yes, add blocks under the pads and see what happens. Remember,,unless your tires are completely off the ground you will still likepy feel some movement.

So the tires should be off the ground then? With nothing under them just the jacks holding it up? I guess I will need to add Blocks to all but the fron sjacks. Yes it is a 6 point system.

No, not what I said. I said that unless they are off the ground you will see some movement. The only time your levelup system might get them off the ground is if your trying to level on a really uneven site. All RVs have some movement unless its on blocks. You just get used to it

Thanks. I will add the blocks and see what happens. As long as it will not mess anything up I will be ok. The right side tire are off the ground an inch the other side is on the ground. Just feels wierd!! When my lab walks it wobbles even. LOL Not to mention me at 250!!

I have the 6pt level up too. I'm really not sure why they did a jack immediately in front and immediately behind the tires. I think they should have done one set in front of the tires and the last set all the way to the rear by the bumper. We have the same wobble when the kids get rambunctious in their room. Our last TT had a 4pt manual level system and it was much more stable. I'm contemplating buying some manual jacks from Wally World and placing them at the rear bumper to see what happens.

The rears are so close to the axles to keep the approach angle manageable. If they were significantly further back they would be torn off entering or exiting driveways.

Then maybe manual scissor jacks are in order all the way in the back. I never had problems with those on my TT.

Scissor jacks fold to 6" below the frame. Lci wants their jacks mounted 10"-12" from the ground for the rears so they have the stroke to level the vehicle. Scissor jacks were built to be stabilizers instead of levelers and as such were built in a much lighter manner.
