Turbo Wash - Black Tank

Can anyone explain to me how the "turbo wash" is supposed to work. From my understanding you connect a hose to the black water hook up and that makes a sprayer spin around in the black tank like a dishwasher.

So I do just that and nothing happens. Just water pressure builds up.

Thoughts?

Are you keeping the black tank valve open?

The directions say you must keep the black tank valve open...might actually came with a sticker you place on side of the trailer as a reminder.

If it is "Just Building Pressure" sounds like a "Backwards Backflow Valve" Again! Youroo!!

Locate the valve,I have No idea where they placed it in your unit, but it will be on the Other side of the inlet location! Do a "Search" at the Top of this page, using Backflow Valve Backwards! Plenty of Info! Youroo!!

Yes...ideally.
Mine worked for the first 2 months then quit. Took to service at LazyWays and they "fixed it" claiming it was clogged and charged me $200 saying it wasn't broken and therefore not under warranty. The very next time out it didn't work again and hasn't worked since.
If your back flow valve is installed correctly, you may simply have a blockage. Might be time to remove and replace with a better unit. I need to do that soon myself cause spraying water down the toilet to rinse the black tank is getting old!

since this thread is about a black tank flush unit not working correctly(for whatever reason) and since that appears to be a common problem, ... I'll repeat what I've posted many times before, "easy fix is to install an aftermarket unit called Quickie Flush", ... it can actually be better than the factory unit, because you can install it on the opposite side of the tank from the drain(FR mounts theirs just above the drain hole), ... on the opposite side from the drain, the spray will help push the contents TOWARDS the drain, ... that should be easy to understand, ... this $27 item sure beats a $200 repair bill. ...
