Water Filter

2017 Sierra 401 FLX has an EXTERNAL Camco Hydro Life HL-200 system mounted inside and under the galley. Not sure WHAT I need to do before winterizing? There is a blue "push?" button on top and wonder what that is for ??

Remove filter and fill canister with golf balls or put a full water bottle inside, then winterize. The golf balls or bottle helps reduce the volume so you use less antifreeze. If the water bottle is empty, the pressure will crush it and not save you much.

That sounds great. Never took out/replaced a filter b/4. Is it simple to do?

Make sure you turn of water supply (city water or pump) and then open a faucet to relieve pressure. The canister should come off easily then.
Many units also come with a supplied housing wrench. Mine was in with all the manuals. Some have said it was in a drawer.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
The button on top might be for bleeding air out of filter when it's empty

The button is probably a pressure release. I think the suggested opening of the faucet is the better idea as you will get some water released as well as pressure, if you know what I mean.
