2009 Wildcat 29RLS FifthWhl Electrical Switch Question HELP!

Hi,
Just picked up our first fiver! We are the proud new owners of a 2009 Wildcat 27RLS. We love it and and are amazed how well and easy it tows behind our 6.5' bed F150 (ecoboost w/ max tow package).

Anyway, there are 3 switches in the rear living area (left of entrance way under bottom of storage cabineets). One switch controls outside light (SCARE LIGHT) on passenger side, and other switch turns on interior lights.

We cannot figure out what the middle switch turns on/off for the life of us. Can someone help us out? The 3 grouped switches are to the right of the power awning and slide switches.

Thanks in advance!
Drew

One switch is for right side scare light, other switch is for interior lighting..the damn middle switch is the one that baffles me! Foot kick switch is under side of kitchen sink and already figured that one out!

Thanks! Keep the answers coming.

How about a left side scare light. I had two on my last Wildcat.

Our 2009 Rockwood 5ver has a group of 2 and 3 switches near the door.

2 group
light inside ceiling near kitchen, the light itself has a switch on it that sometimes gets turned off
yellow porch light outside

3 group
left scare
right scare
step light - took a while to find that one since you can't see it on in the daytime. We didn't know the trailer had a step light until we found it!

On edit: Most trailers I have seen have 2 scare lights, left and right. I would figure out how to get them both on, since the bulb might be burned out in one and that's what the switch does.

MyWildcat also has the 3 switch cluster. Inside, outside white, and outside yellow.

My left side scare light is by the bathroom switch...that's a dumb location for it. I will look for a step light. Didn't see one lit but perhaps bulb is burned out.

Thanks!

KU4OJ, do you have a thread on your ham setup in your rig? I've been out of the hobby for 25 years and thinking of getting back into it. I currently use 2m radios for snowmobiling and ATVing but all line of sight with no repeater use.

Isn’t the middle switch for the outside light above the entrance door? BTW, on my 2008 Wildcat the switch for that light also turned on the step light.

That's the configuration of our 2012 Wildcat also. 1-White, 1-Yellow and 1- Interior.

Welcome to the world of 5'vers, and congrats on the new-to-you rig.
