2017 Forest River WILDCAT 281DBK ?

Does anyone here have one of these. I am thinking of upgrading to one, but I am worried about craftsmanship quality if it was built like our current FR. Did anyone experience any issues with theirs so I know what to look for when we go look at these? Also the weight is a lot more, do you think my F-150 with ecoboost would pull it.

Are you still looking at one of these. My wife and I just picked ours up last weekend and are now on our first trip. If you are still interested ask away I will let you know.

281DBK

Hi I am brand new to this site and was looking at a 281DBK Wildcat. Would you recommend it? Whats the good and the bad? I was also curious what is the tow vehicle you guys are using. Any help would be appreciated. Having a hard time finding any reviews on this model.

Thanks,

Jeff

We love ours. Have not had much of anything go wrong. One thing is the fender skirting on the slide flaps while driving down the road. So it cracked the fender flare. I got my dealer to get me a new fender flare. But they said if I wanted them to make it not flap it would not be covered because what has been done is how it was suppose to be. Simple fix some extra screws and will never happen again. Other than that it is a great camper. I tow with a 2016 dodge 2500 with Cummins engine. Hardly tell it is back there.
