When I turn the hot water heater pin to electric how long should it take to get hot water through the system

Never use mine on electric but I'd say 15-20 min.

Thanks I got it going now just was not sure about it. I thought using the electric would be good to save the propane tanks. I am not sure how fast I go through the tanks using the furnace and stove in Washington state. My first RV

electric takes longer to heat, than propane.

The Electric in my campground is commercial rate @$.18 KWH. Propane is cheaper. It's also poorly designed @ only 108 volts at times on a busy weekend.

I own a 28RKX and I always use electric on my HWH. As stated above, 20-30 minutes to heat up. My wife and I never run out of hot water as we practice water conservation when showering.
