28sgx 2016 max tire size

Our new 28SGX has 235/70/15 tires- I undertand you can upgrade to 235/80 /16
Has anyone installed 235/85/16 tires and rims on their unit
This size has G ratings available if they will fit

My first concern would be the number of lugs. My guess is that the 15" wheels are 6-lug. That'll really limit your choice in 16 rims and as a result of psi requirements the tires and load range you can go with.

These are the wheels l went with. I got a package deal from the seller that came with 4 wheels, stainless center caps, set of acorn lugnuts, & metal high pressure valve stems with chrome caps.
I run LT-235/85r16 Transforce @ 80 p.s.i. on my 32QBBS Wildcat.
You will have to do some measuring to make sure you will have enough space between tires and sidewall. If you need "true" tire diameter just ask. You can't always go by advertised sizes and usually vary between manufacturers.

Wildcat Fifth Wheels / Travel Trailers by Forest River RV

At the link above you can download a flyer on the fifth wheels. Under options it states that the 16 inch wheels are standard for units with bedroom sliders.

I have the same model and it came with 16" wheels.
